The Light at South Manitou

The lighthouse on South Manitou Island was built in 1871. Only its light is still operative. The island itself is now uninhabited. The original painting and fine art prints are available here.

Two Larger Studies From Glen Haven

These larger studies were done in the barn studio during my recent residency at the Glen Arbor Art Association. Both are oil on canvas, 10 x 20 inches. Fine art prints as well as the originals are available here.

First Two Studies

These were my first two studies while artist-in-residence at the Glen Arbor Art Association on Michigan's Leelanau Peninsula. The first day it rained heavily, so I opened the barn doors of my studio and painted the granary and surrounding buildings on Thoreson Farm. On the second day the weather still looked threatening, but I did venture out to paint the studio barn itself. Both the originals as well as fine art prints are available here.
